Crashproofing: Are Crashproofing Kits visible on the outside of the plane?

No. Usually anyone looking at your plane can not even tell that there is a reinforcement kit installed. We drill the carbon fiber rods into the foam. With patching and touch-up paint, the kit is virtually invisible.  You can tell by looking inside the fuselage. There are a few exceptions.  The HawkFighter, for instance, has some carbon fiber strips that are installed on the exterior and if you opt for the nose plates and bands, you can see those on the outside too. They will look the same as the HawkFighters you see flown in our videos.
