SHOP QUESTIONS: Every time I spray paint, the paint makes its way under the tape and makes a mess. What am I doing wrong?

It could be 3 things-

1- Spray from the "outside", so you're not pointing the nozzle under the tape edge.

2- The sooner you remove the tape, the less time the paint has to travel under it

3- Spray light coats- loads of wet paint will travel easier by capillary action.

And do make sure the edge of the tape is pressed down well
